Albany, NY (WRGB) — The former College of Saint Rose campus officially has new owners, marking a significant step in efforts to revitalize the site.

The former College of Saint Rose campus has been sold.County Executive Dan McCoy said Thursday that the Albany County Land Authority won the bid for the property. That bid was $35 million.

The future of the College of Saint Rose campus has started to take shape. Albany County is in talks to establish a new substation for the Albany County Sheriff’s Office on the former college campus.
