The Cleveland Browns are bringing in a familiar face at quarterback, adding more depth to a revamped quarterback room. Cleveland is signing Joe Flacco to a one-year deal worth $4 million that includes up to $13 million in incentives, CBS Sports NFL insider Jonathan Jones confirms.

The Vikings are yet to sign a backup quarterback after losing both Sam Darnold and Daniel Jones in free agency. They’re playing the waiting game, as signings after April 29 won’t count against the NFL’s compensatory formula, and Minnesota is currently projected to receive multiple comp picks for the 2026 NFL Draft.
