John Hinde rebuilt The Washington State Fair’s Classic Coaster in Puyallup and inspected The Fair’s rides for more than 25 years before passing away on Dec. 30.

PUYALLUP — The old wooden roller coaster at the Puyallup Fair and Events Center has remained largely the same since it was built in 1935.
