A rare Christmas Day Powerball drawing could be a lucky winner’s $638 million gift. Only three jackpots have been won on Dec. 25.

Some holidays — Dec. 24 is Christmas Eve while Black Friday is always a Friday — may or may not fall on a day of a Powerball or Mega Millions drawing.

In the past, three Powerball jackpots have been won on Christmas, according to a news release from Powerball. The last time was 10 years ago when an individual in Missouri won $71.5 million.
