The Charleston County Sheriff's Office Wednesday cleared what was initially reported as a "suspicious package" in front of the Charleston County Courthouse.

Jacob Bloomer was fired in April for violating numerous North Charleston Police Department policies. He now works at Charleston County Sheriff's Office.
