In the newly released Marvel Studios: The Art of Ryan Meinerding, the artist confirmed the overhauled suit - which combines his 2012 and 2015 costumes - was cut from The Winter Soldier.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Head Writer Malcolm Spellman is penning the screenplay alongside Dalan Musson, though there's no word on a release date or director at this point.
