Forwards Elias Pettersson and Nils Hoglander could be out of the lineup when the Canucks play the New Jersey Devils at Prudential Center on Monday (7:30 p.m. ET; Disney+, HULU, ESPN+, Prime). Pettersson and Hoglander each sustained undisclosed injuries and did not play the third period in Vancouver's 5-3 loss to the New York Rangers on Saturday.

The Vancouver Canucks will be without star centerman Elias Pettersson and top-six winger Nils Hoglander for the remaining four games of their current road trip.

The New Jersey Devils and Vancouver Canucks will square off Monday night in a battle of the Hughes brothers. While the absence of dynamic center Jack Hughes certainly takes some life out of the matchup, my Canucks vs. Devils predictions still see the two defensemen making their mark in what could be a higher-scoring game than the market expects.
