Starfleet Academy got a teaser trailer today at San Diego Comic-Con 2025 that not only offers our first real look at what to expect from the show, but also some references to the Trek of yesteryear — including a major Deep Space Nine reference.

Starfleet Academy is picking up where Discovery left off, but its trailer suggests the series may explore the fate of a character from an older show.

Starfleet Academy starts streaming early next year, and we have our very first trailer. The show stars Holly Hunter as the chancellor and Paul Giamatti as the antagonist.
