This is the second blow for AAP in Haryana in recent days, following the defection of Faridabad candidate Pravesh Mehta to the BJP on September 28.

Aam Aadmi Party candidate Amar Singh from Nilokheri Assembly constituency in Haryana joined Congress and withdrew his candidature. This move is expected to help Congress by preventing vote division.
