Unlike the Mortis gods, Abeloth has never appeared outside of the Star Wars: Fate of the Jedi books, which are no longer canon. However, she is deeply connected to the powerful family.

If done correctly Abeloth would be a fantastic piece of cosmic horror. And especially having an entity beyond "mortal bounds" as a villain for Star Wars could throw it into an age of higher fantasy.
