The Focus had been in production since 1998, and for many years was a consistent bestseller for Ford. According to data from R.L. Polk, it was even the best selling car in the world in 2011 and 2012.

Ford’s long-running hatchback was shuffled out of the US lineup in 2018 but has remained a staple of the Ford Europe lineup. However, that is apparently going to end before the end of this year.
