Just when Manchester City appeared to have resumed normal service, Pep Guardiola's side once again find themselves under the microscope as they prepare to host top-four rivals Chelsea in the Premier League's big weekend clash on Saturday.

Pep Guardiola said his Manchester City team got what they deserved following their defeat to Paris St Germain. City surrendered a 2-0 lead to lose 4-2 at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday (22 January) and are now in danger of crashing out of the Champions League at the first hurdle.

Luis Enrique credits Pep Guardiola with inventing arguably the “perfect model” of attacking soccer. He must now outwit him when Paris Saint-Germain faces Manchester City in the Champions League on Wednesday.
