A blonde whippet from Italy with soulful eyes and tiger-like markings won the overall prize at Crufts, the world’s biggest dog show, on Sunday.

Miuccia, an Italian whippet, beat more than 18,000 dogs to be named Best in Show at the Crufts dog show in Birmingham, U.K.

“It’s an honor to be the first Italian to win Best in Show at Crufts, it’s a very big emotion!” Viking was awarded Reserve Best in Show along with his handler Gabriele Stafuzza, the first time a Tibetan Mastiff has been Best in Group.

Miuccia, from Venice, has beaten more than 18,000 dogs to lift the coveted "best in show" trophy in Birmingham.

Crufts was held at the NEC in Birmingham this week from March 6 to 9, with the Best in Show winner named in the final of the annual international event in the city earlier today
