As thousands of protesters demonstrating against President’s Trump mass deportation and immigration policies clogged the streets and 101 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles Sunday, smaller protests erupted in several cities across Southern California and the United States.

Another point of concern is the Trump administration's promise of "mass deportation" efforts across the country. According to local immigration attorneys, much of what Trump wants to do would require a significant amount of resources — financially, staffing-wise and spatially.

Major industries like construction, child care and restaurants rely heavily on undocumented workers, who would be hard to replace, economists and employers say.
