Prince William and Kate Middleton on Tuesday, July 8, welcomed French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte. Amid the ongoing refurbishment of Buckingham Palace, the three-day state visit was held at Windsor Castle.

French President Emmanuel Macron gave the Princess of Wales, a cheeky wink as he clinked glasses with her at a state banquet at Windsor Castle. The star-studded gala dinner was held on July 8th in honor of the first official French state visit in 17 years.

Kate Middleton and Emmanuel Macron were seated next to each other while his wife Brigitte Macron sat between Prince William and Queen Camilla.
