Former Philadelphia Phillies manager Lee Elia has died, the organization has announced. He was 87 years old. Elia, who is a Philadelphia native, was the manager of the Phillies during the 1987 and 1988 seasons. He also managed the Chicago Cubs in 1982 and 1983.
