Despite admitting she's gagged by an NDA, one actor involved in the upcoming DCU Lanterns series has given a promising update on production – and dished out high praise for the HBO show's scripts. Speaking to Collider, Poorna Jagannathan – who plays Zoe in Lanterns – has revealed that "camera testing" is due to start this week.

The DC Universe HBO series Lanterns has found its villain, as Danish actor Ulrich Thomsen ( The Celebration , The World Is Not Enough , Banshee , The Blacklist ) has joined the cast. Thomsen has signed on in the recurring role of Sinestro.

Variety has confirmed that Ulrich Thomsen has joined the Green Lanterns series in the recurring role of Sinestro. He will appear alongside previously announced leads Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre in the series, as well as cast members Kelly Macdonald, Garret Dillahunt, and Poorna Jagannathan.

The upcoming Lanterns show for HBO has already cast its Green Lantern leads, Hal Jordan and John Stewart. Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre will play them.
