Greater Manchester Police said the first of the Oasis homecoming gigs at Heaton Park has passed "without incident" - but there were a number of arrests and drone incidents

Oasis fans are all saying the same thing after Liam and Noel Gallagher took to the stage of the first of five Heaton Park gigs. Taking the stage at 8:15pm as expected, the brothers were met with thunderous applause and cheers in their home city.

As Liam, Noel, Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs, Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Joey Waronker walked onto the stage, Liam yelled: "Oasis Vibes in the Area” to huge cheers before adding: “Manchester Vibes in the Area.”
