There are plans to spin off a new series from the CBS drama FBI with the working title of — what else? — FBI: CIA, Entertainment Weekly has learned. Three characters from the potential show, which would be executive produced and written by Dick Wolf,

CIA, a planted spinoff from Wolf's hit CBS drama FBI, which is targeting a potential series order for the 2025-2026 season.

The project is said to be written by Dick Wolf himself as well as FBI: Most Wanted showrunner David Hudgins, Nicole Perlman of Pokémon: Detective Pikachu and Guardians of the Galaxy fame, and former CIA officer David Chasteen. The lead characters have yet to be cast.
