After an impressive 8-2 victory over Northeastern in the 2025 Beanpot semifinals, the Boston College Eagles men’s hockey team is looking to win its first title since 2016 as it takes on the Boston University Terriers in the championship on Monday night at TD Garden in Boston.

Strange as it seems, Monday night’s matchup between Boston College and Boston University will mark the first time the two schools have faced off in the championship game of the men’s Beanpot since 2016.

Maine made up some ground with wins over Northeastern and UMass to jump ahead of BU by 1 point into second place, and 3 points behind BC.
