Peter T. Akemann, co-founder of Call of Duty developer Treyarch, has pleaded guilty to piloting the drone that collided with a Canadian Super Scooper firefighting aeroplane during last month's devastating and, in some places, ongoing Los Angeles wildfires.

Treyarch co-founder Peter Akemann - who more recently served as president of Skydance Interactive - has pleaded guilty to flying the drone that crashed into, and grounded, a firefighting plane assisting in the efforts to control the recent LA wildfires.

Akemann will plead guilty to a misdemeanor offense after his drone collided with an aircraft fighting the Palisades Fire in January.
