First Steps gives a spectacular new story about Marvel's First Family with a bold, breathtaking superhero blockbuster.

Set in an alternate version of the mid-1960s, director Matt Shakman’s Marvel Comics adaptation “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” (Disney) can fairly be called the TWA Hotel of superhero movies.

First Steps features incredibly visually stimulating and nostalgia-inducing retrofuturistic aesthetics, but falls flat plot-wise as it follows a generic superhero movie formula
