No, it is just like a regular Zoo. You can turn up and just stroll through. I do recommend going in the afternoon as they seemed to be when the feeding of animals occurred and when the birdshot was on. As for price, we had a family of 4 and it cost less than $50.

We saw 8-10 devils at a feeding late in the morning, approx. 1100. Took some really great close up pictures. Devil feeding was followed by a kangaroo and wallaby feeding (by hand) which was great for those of us who don't aren't from Australia. This place is a moderate distance from Hobart and would make a good stop on a day trip to Port Arthur, but I'm not sure that I'd drive that far just to go to this one place.
