I have seen all mannor of dogs at outside events at the Riverside however, I have never seen a dog of any size inside the theatre during a performance, if that is your question. I for one would not want to be seated next to someone that brought a dog to a performance just for the general distraction away from the performance, Also consider the many in the audience, close seating, that have allergies that would suffer being seated next to a dog. I have a Shetland Sheep Dog (Sheltie) that is very social, but I would not bring her to the theatre for the following reasons; not everyone likes dogs or are afraid of dogs of any size, clean up and disposal, getting tangled in leashes and they would have to be on a leash, etc. I suspect my answer would not be popular however, I am just stating what the silent majority is thinking.
