We stopped in during high tide, so we couldn't really walk to Hole In The Wall. The amount of trees and driftwood washed up is amazing. On a sunny September Wednesday afternoon the parking lot was pr…Full review by parksvisitor

Another crowded spot so arrive early for parking. Walking this beach was awesome. Had a good time scaling the log barrier. Go at low tide for the best views of marine wildlife - we were really impres…Full review by DillonM1905
I will be near Rialto Beach during Sept 13-17. Looking at the tide charts, it looks like low tide during this time is not very much lower than high tide... Will I still be able to see critters in tide pools? And walk to the Hole in the Wall?

I don’t fully know the answer only what we experienced. There are SO many logs piled up & then tons of large boulders I’m really not sure o If it’s accessible at any time. Some were walk/climbing across the rocks, but one slip or fall would result in some serious Injury. I had photos of those areas Included with my posts. I really had wanted to get over to the beach as well. Maybe there’s an alternate way to get over there. That part I do not know. Good luck.
Planning on going camping 1 night on the beach this weekend 8/24 but was told to avoid second beach and go to Hole-In-The-Wall via Rialto or Third Beach instead. I plan to get the permit at Port Angeles @8am when the permit office opens arrive at the parking lot by 10am, so hopefully this is early enough. Any suggestions or comments on which beach to camp at and best options? I have backwoods camping and hiked around the area in Shi Shi Beach but never at a beach.
Car camping Hey, I’m thinking to visit Rialto beach next week but I didn’t plan it, so I thought that I can car camp in the parking lot there but I don’t know if there are regulations about that or something. I’m also thinking of going to Sol Duc, Mt Storm King, where should I car camp there later?

I didn't notice any car campers in the National Park Service parking lot at Rialto Beach but there seemed to be a second (non-NPS) lot to the left (south) of the NPS entrance and there was a travel trailer there. Perhaps this was on Indian Reservation land though there were no indications of regulations or instructions there. Maybe best to contact a locally resident source.
Would it be helpful to have hiking sandals for the beaches? Would my hiking boots get all wet? (They are water resistant).
A:
Yes water proof would be best. Long and wide beach can walk the beach without getting wet but to access to the whole beach you will need to access it all
