It’s a cool narrow windy 2 miles road up to Chumash. We love finding/seeing petroglyphs/pictographs. Since these are in a cave and out of the weather & protected with steel fencing they look great !… Full review by tonyk744

We were kind of disappointed. The cave has an iron gate to protect it from vandalism, but the cave was so dark that we really couldn't see the paintings very well. Full review by Susanah A

Anytime but in the day the ride is easier because you can see. Bring a flashlight to shine in the cave wall to light up the rock art so you can get a better picture. Camera phones and standrad flash are not strong enough. Enjoy!
