Bercher is a municipality in the district of Gros-de-Vaud in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. Bercher is first mentioned in 1154 as de Berchiaco. Bercher has an area, as of 2009, of 4.25 square kilometers. Of this area, 2.41 km² or 56.7% is used for agricultural purposes, while 1.12 km² or 26.4% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 0.69 km² or 16.2% is settled, 0.02 km² or 0.5% is either rivers or lakes.
