Hello. I'll be travelling with my 10 year old daughter. Is there enough there to keep kids interested? How long do you recommend allocating to get a decent (but not completely thorough tour)? Are the falls here any better than on the road to Hana? Thanks!

Aloha, We recommend a minimum of an hour at our attraction. We have 26 acres, and 2.5 miles of walking trails to explore. A large portion of our plants are labeled, featuring an educational element to your visit with us. We provide you with a map upon entering, and you explore at your own leisure. We recommend bringing quarters for our duck food machines if your daughter has an interest in feeding peacocks and muscovy ducks out of her hands! Of course we are subjective with respect to our waterfalls! We offer exclusive vantage points of the valley featured in the opening scene of the film, Jurassic Park. The two waterfalls visible from our property are Upper and Lower Puohokamoa Falls (160+ ft). We look forward to seeing you, and please don't hesitate with further questions. Mahalo, Garden Crew

The peacocks kept their distance, but you can feed the ducks and geese. I don't know if you would want to touch them, some were aggresive over the food and might not be terribly friendly if you tried petting them. We saw a couple of cats roaming around, but they weren't interested in getting near anyone.
