We had a fair amount of time before the ferry left, so we spent it wandering around the shops. Possibly a bad idea, we ended up with three hats. Prices are about what you would expect on Coronado. Full review by 573dk9999

Nice quick easy trip from Broadway Pier to Coronado. Rented bikes at ferry landing and rode around the island. The Cabrillo is showing it’s 60 years of age though. Full review by Rob S

Q:
Is there a shuttle to the west side
A:
You can catch the bus, they run every 15-20 mins. It's just a short walk from the boat landing. Bus stop is just across from the Stone Cold Creamery on SE corner.

Hi Maria. Are you planning to take the ferry FROM Coronado or TO Coronado? If taking it from Coronado, you should have no problem parking in the large parking lot that serves the shopping plaza. It is free. The ferry leaves from the edge of the shopping center. If, however, your departure point is San Diego, then that ia a bit more challenging. Any parking in San Diego is difficult to find and pricey. The closest parking is the Convention Center and the cost is between $15 and $35 for the day. If you don't mind a little walk, try parking at Seaport Village shopping center. The costs are as follows: Monday - Thursday: Validated self-parking: $5 for the first 3 hours or part thereof; $3 every 30 minutes thereafter or part thereof. Validation with a minimum $10 purchase. Non-validated self parking: $8 per hour or part thereof. Looks like the Convention Center is the closest and probably the best option. There are some lots behind Petco Park but the neighborhood borders a transitional section (large segment of homeless population). Maybe you'll be fortunate enough to say on the Coronado side (I love it there). In case you did not know (as I did not know), the Coronado Bridge is free as the bond measure to pay for it has long since been paid off. The views are pretty amazing along the drive over the bridge.
