It's not very often that you get a chance to see a natural phenomenon such as this. Be aware that this is nature at work, and not something on a time schedule, so you just have to sit and be patient.… Full review by Karen M

The bats aren't on a schedule; therefore, there is no set time the bats exit the cave. Prepare to arrive at the theater at dusk. Rangers will give a detailed talk and when they sense it's time, they will ask everyone to be quiet when they start exiting the cave. Since there are 40,000 or more bats that leave, this takes hours, but the best time is around dusk.
