Nice secluded beach in the city limits. Seems like its clean as well with almost to no waves. Highly recommended if you want a peaceful place to hang out.Full review by Jean-Francois L

If you wish to see the fireworks, just hang out at the ocean bar of the Hilton, or the beach area, or the artificial lagoon next to the marina. I would not recommend hanging around any park at night. Honolulu has a very large homeless problem. I spoke to some cops (during the 4th of July festivities) and they suggested this to me. Always, do as you wish, but if you wish to see the fireworks peacefully (there will be many people with you, too), then do as I suggested.
